A new blaster game attraction, Illumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast, is coming to Universal Orlando Resort next summer.
The attraction will be located at the new Minion Land at Universal Studios Florida, an area that will feature existing attraction Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, a new Minion Cafe and more.

Villain-Con Minion Blast will use both screen technology and physical sets to immerse guests in different environments, featuring "tons of mischievous Minions," villains and more, Universal said.
The attraction is set in Villain-Con, the biggest criminal convention on the planet. Guests will be part of a competition to see if they are qualified to join the Vicious 6, a group of supervillains from the movie "Minions: The Rise of Gru."

"Guests who are up for the challenge will grab an interactive blaster and step onto a motion-based pathway to put their skills to the test," Universal said. "They'll wind and glide through various scenes where they earn points by blasting a variety of items and causing as much mayhem and destruction as possible."
The attraction is being developed by Universal's creative team and the filmmakers from Illumination.
