The Louisiana Office of Tourism is looking to attract more visitors to the Bayou State with the launch of a campaign titled "My Louisiana."

In a statement, Louisiana's lieutenant governor, Billy Nungesser, said that the marketing effort is focused on "showcasing so many of the state's great travel assets," which include rich music and culinary offerings as well as outdoor experiences like fishing and swamp tours.

The campaign will run across a variety of platforms, including billboards in Times Square. Digital video, digital display and print advertising, streaming audio, still photography, visitor guide assets and trade show assets will also be utilized.

The "My Louisiana" platform is on track to run for a three-year period and is designed to promote staycations and domestic travel as well as international travel.

On the domestic travel front, the campaign will target regional feeder markets like Dallas, Houston, Atlanta and Chicago.

The campaign launch follows last month's debut of the Louisiana Office of Tourism's new tourism website, ExploreLouisiana.com.
