Air Canada has become the first airline to sell Hopper's Cancel for Any Reason flight-flexibility product within its own website.

Canada-based users of AirCanada.com are now automatically given the option of purchasing Cancel for Any Reason within the booking path. Air Canada's Standard, Flex, Premium Economy Lowest and Business Class Lowest fares are eligible for the insurance product. Refundable fares and basic economy fares aren't eligible.

The product is not on offer for bookings originating in the U.S.

Cancel for Any Reason allows customers to cancel their flight up to 24 hours before departure. Refunds of either 80% or 100% are paid depending upon the product the flyer has selected. The product is priced dynamically with no standard cost.

Air Canada is working with Hopper through its business-facing Hopper Cloud initiative.
