A new quiet room for guests who could use a break from the bustling theme parks opened Monday at Universal Orlando Resort.

A resort spokesperson confirmed the room, located near the front of Universal Studios Florida to the right of the Studio Audience Center and Lost and Found, will be open when the park is.

Guests don't need to reserve the room, but will need to wait until it is vacant to use. A 30-minute time limit is encouraged.

It has rubber floor tiles, an activity wall panel and two hiding tunnels.

The room is a dedicated space for guests with autism and other cognitive disabilities. Universal Orlando Resort's Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities also lists quiet areas within its theme parks that typically have lesser foot traffic.
