Launched in 2008 with two vessels in Europe, the Australian line now operates a fleet of 15 luxury "Space-Ships" river vessels in Europe, Southeast Asia, Russia and Egypt. Scenic also owns the lower-priced boutique river cruise brand Emerald Waterways, which has eight ships sailing Europe and another that was launched this year on the Mekong. The company also offers exclusive cruises on Southeast Asia's Irrawaddy River, the Volga River in Russia and the Nile as well as yacht cruises from Croatia.
