Royal Caribbean International said it recorded the largest booking day in company history (53 years) when reservations opened for the Icon of the Seas

Inventory went on sale on Oct. 24 for Crown & Anchor Society members and on Oct. 25 for the general public. The Icon is expected to begin sailing in late January 2024.

At 250,800 gross tons, the 5,610-passenger Icon will come equipped with new features for the brand, including six waterslides, a new neighborhood for young families, and 28 stateroom categories, including a three-level Ultimate Family Townhouse.

The Icon will sail seven-night Western Caribbean sailings from Miami year-round. Each cruise will visit the line’s private Bahamian island, Perfect Day at CoCo Cay, and a mix of other destinations such as Cozumel, Mexico; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; and Basseterre, St. Kitts.
