Founded in 1983, Ritz-Carlton Hotels & Resorts, an independently operated division of Marriott International, operates more than 100 hotels and over 45 residential properties across approximately 30 countries and territories. Among the company's most recent additions is the Ritz-Carlton Nikko in Japan, which debuted in mid-July.
