HAL will launch the Nieuw Statendam in late 2018, which will be a sister ship to its 2,650-passenger Koningsdam. HAL introduced a new logo in 2016 and a new tag line, "Savor the Journey," to replace its "Signature of Excellence" slogan. Its 14 ships are registered in the Netherlands, a reflection of its Dutch heritage. In January, Oprah Winfrey plans a "Girlfriend Getaway" cruise on the Nieuw Statendam.
