Elegant Hotels -- the Barbados-based hotel group acquired by Marriott International in late 2019 -- will reopen its adults-only Treasure Beach and the House properties this spring, repositioning both as all-inclusive resorts under the Marriott portfolio.

Located on Paynes Bay in St. James, the two properties were previously "European plan" a la carte resorts.

Featuring 34 rooms, the House is scheduled to reopen on May 18. The property's dining options include all-day venue the Restaurant, a 24-hour cocktail bar and a grab-and-go bar serving light bites and drinks.

The 35-suite Treasure Beach resort will reopen on June 10, offering all-day dining at its Tapestry restaurant and wine tastings at the Wine Cellar.

Guests at both properties will also be able to make use of Elegant Hotels' Dine Around Program, under which they can travel to and experience other Elegant Hotels restaurants via water taxi.

The House and Treasure Beach bring Elegant Hotels' total number of Marriott all-inclusive resorts in Barbados to six, including Crystal Cove, Turtle Beach, Waves Hotel & Spa and Tamarind.
