Avalon Waterways, part of the Globus family of brands, launched its first river cruise vessel in 2004 and will have a European river fleet of 14 vessels when it launches the Avalon View in 2021. It also operates two ships on the Mekong River. The entire fleet now comprises panorama suite ships, which feature cabins with beds that face glass doors that can be opened to create a balcony.
